Parts or complete sale. up for sale a collectors valiant chrysler cl cm 4.3l year 1978. automatic very hard to find. power steering air conditioning. has air horns not original plays (god father tune) has towing option and plug but i never used ofr tried it. great big boot inside can fit anything. interior is red cloth seats and spongy. valiant mag wheels. im the second owner of this car have had the car for over 5 years now and its still in original condition original motor original radio (am) only original interior (no rips in seats original power steering original air conditioning alot more original stuff on it will need to see for your self or e-mail and ask the question will be happy to answer. the car is registered till 23-5-2006 (23 may 2006) the car has been looked after very well and serviced regular every 5000km to 6000km oil and filter change was done fuel filter 10000km and air filter plus spark plugs and leads. all work caried out by a valiant chrysler specialist mechanic in hoxton park nsw they restore valiant from back to bear metal and up. including engine re-builds. they can get parts when you cant find them at wreckers most parts still original their address and phone number comes with the car when purchased) just to give you a helping hand as it is hard to find a top class valiant mechanic. they do an awsome job on the car. a bit of history on the car. in 2003 full carbby kit put on and good clean out full service iol filters more full tune up. in 2004 replaced 1 x front double pully put new belts tune up full service iol filters more was finding car hard or not able to start some times problem was caused by the muffler being blocked. took muffler off never had a problem again with it starting. in 2005 regular full service iol filters more 5 x new tyres spare has not been used yet. recently aprox 4 months ago i had the following repairs done. i will show invoice from mechanics for proof. in 2006 break booster was reconditioned 2 new front discs only been machined once brand new upper and lower ball joints both sides new rubber mounts didnt use nylon as they break quicker all new bushes on front swey bar good second hand tire rod was replaced. plus more to list all on invoice. cost of repair was $990. now the car has sat in the same spot for over 2 months due to me driving a company truck when i started the car 3 days ago it was running a little lumppy i ran it for aprox 5 to 10 minutes then switched it off. i asked the question to a mechanic near my work what he may think it is and the answer i got was. 1. could be bad fuel because its been sitting there for a while. 2. could be dirty spark plugs. 3. could be a spark plug lead. 4th usual story (bring it in and we will look at it for you) then some thing simple ends up costing a couple of hundred dollars so it looks like they did some thing. now the car will sit there in the same spot so im not going to bother getting it looked at or re-registered. the car has it usual valiant rust near the bottom back window and front bottom windscreen no holes that i have noticed. has been touched up in a few places as seen in photos have not found any rust in engine bay then again i dont spend much time in the engine bay. the pasenger front floor has damaged carpet as it had a bit of water come in when it rained and the carpet went soft and pasenger sitting there stuffed it then told me about it. the boot lid is very badly damaged with rust still good but i will give you a boot lid that has never seen rain and is rust free i got it last year just in case they picked on it for rego i would have replaced it. its just about new will give with the car. i also have a back windscreen sunvisor wich i will give with the car just goes on the back windscreen and blocks the heat and sun light i only just took it off as the car sits there and didnt wont it getting stollen as i have had alot of people come knocking on the door asking if i wanted to sell the car coz it just sat there. now that i want to sell no one comes around. i have heaps of photos of the car if you wish to see more please e-mail me and if you wish to see a specific part of the car just ask as i have photos of just about every part as i may sell it in parts and get more for it that way. great car for restoring as its all complete and does not need much work most of it is done and its still registered no need for blue slip just take in for pink slip. thats one less worry. make an offer if your interested. thank you.
